Cleaned my makeup traincase earlier today and got rid of lipsticks that have been around for more than 3 years. The ones in the photos below are those that "survived".

LDR (Long Distance Relationship): Rule #8
Watch The Adjustment Bureau
I remember watching this movie with Zee just a few weeks before he had to go to Chicago for his internship. I was really depressed back then but this movie made me feel like God was telling me something.. It was like He was telling me to just be strong, do our part (in maintaining the relationship) and don't lose faith.

If you're in a long distance relationship, you should totally watch this movie because it will make you realize that as long as you are determined to be together, NOTHING can ever come between the both of you. It will make you realize that having faith in EACH OTHER is just as important as having faith in God. ♥
It's 2:30 AM on my side of the world and I just finished watching this movie again..
Ending this post with one of my favorite lines by Matt Damon from this movie:

Ending this post with one of my favorite lines by Matt Damon from this movie:
"I can go through this door alone. You'll never see me or the people chasing us again. Or you can come with me, and I don't know what's on the other side, but you'd be next to me and that's all I've wanted since the minute I met you."

Celeb Feature: CARLA ABELLANA
CELEBRITIES.. We see them in commercials, teleseryes, in billboards and when we're lucky-- sometimes we even bump into them at the mall. There is no denying that we sometimes (okay, OFTEN times hahaha) gossip about them and their personal lives, criticize their looks, the decisions they make-- forgetting that they're people with feelings too (only much prettier than us hahaha!). Sometimes I wonder what it feels like to be judged by other people and not have the chance to defend yourself.. But then again, that's something that "normal people" also go through.. Diba?
Anyway, this is the first time that I'm featuring anybody from the Philippine show business and the reason why I picked Carla was because I was totally impressed with how she handles herself in the face of adversity. I was still in Manila (last year) when I got to watch a Youtube video of her being shot down by a writer during a press conference. I would've freaked out in a situation like that, would've probably made a fool of myself in front of a lot of people, but not Carla Abellana. She carried herself so well, with so much composure and class. She seriously inspired me to be more calm and more patient when dealing with people who try their best to humiliate you or make you feel bad.
This post is loooong overdue (she sent me her answers last Oct. 2011 pa!) but this is only because I just found the YES! Magazine my Mom had (where they featured Carla and her beautiful home) so... okay.. without further ado... ;)

If you weren't in showbiz right now, what would your life be like? Where would you be?
Oh I'd definitely still be working for Rockwell Land Corporation, or at least for some other company. I left RLC for showbusiness and I was doing well, enjoying

Thai Oriental Cuisine, Kuwait City
Oriental Cuisine is no doubt the best Thai restaurant I've tried here in K-town. It is located on the ground floor of City Suites in Kuwait City and even though it is quite far from where we live, this is still my parents' first choice to satisfy their Tom Yum fix.
This appetizer is worth thousands of calories I'm sure.. But its soooo worth it!

Fashionista Commuter: ANA GONZALES
It's been ages since the last time I featured anybody on my blog.. Been so busy with my personal life these days but I'm taking a break so that I could tell you about one of the nicest blogger friends I have.. It's none other than the Fashionista commuter-- ANA GONZALES! :)
I have nothing but good words to say about Ana.. She is one of the most selfless and kindest girls I know. I remember one time, she had a teacher (from highschool I think) who got really sick and needed help

My Mom and I got invited to attend a special presentation of Exotic Turkish Textiles at Sadu House (Al Sadu) the other day.

Mornin' & Evenin' Restaurant, Fahaheel
Had breakfast with my parents for the first time at Mornin' & Evenin' Restaurant the other day. I read in a Kuwaiti blog that their pancakes were "the best in Kuwait" so I just had to give it a try. :)
True enough, these are the fluffiest and tastiest pancakes I've had in K-town. ♥

The Avenues Mall, Kuwait
I often tweet about going to this mall every week.. It's one of the largest malls in the world and it's pretty much like an equivalent to the Mall of Asia that we have back in Manila.
I was there last week to meet up with my friends from highschool and I took the liberty of taking a few photos of what the mall looks like outside.
