I've had a lot of fashionista friends tell me how fun "layering" must be for me during winter..
I LOVE winter season (probably because I got sick & tired of the hot and humid weather in Manila), but I honestly HATE dressing up for it. I love clothes, I love getting all dolled up but when it's REALLY cold outside- I don't have the patience or the energy to come up with a glamorous outfit.
Coats are the only thing you'll see me wearing.
If my coat is sent for dry cleaning, I'll be wearing a fugly but WARM sweater or jacket.
Aside from the fact that you don't get to show off your accessories, what I hate most about winter clothing is that they cost A LOT of money. One (good quality- as in the ones that lasts a lifetime and really keeps you warm) coat will cost you about KWD 35 (around Php 5,400++) and that's the cheapest one!
I just don't see myself buying/ collecting a variety of bulky clothing (I HATE sweaters! They take up so much space in your closet!) that I'll only be wearing for a few months. Maybe it would be a different story if I had a lot of money... But I don't. LOL!

Well anyway, March is upon us and it'll be a lot warmer in a few weeks (hopefully) so I'll be able to dress up more.. Until then, forgive me for the lack of OTD posts..

so true! i agree, i live and work in dubai, i can say that i also hate to spend for winter clothes...i can relate so much>>>summer soon!
oonga noh, i didn't realize until now that mejo boring pag all covered up ka with winter clothes because you can't show off accessories! and mejo magastos nga with the coats! :O
ohwell, but at least it's cooler where you are. ang init sa manila :(
i always find dressing up for a cold day hard too... i mean you'll gonna cover it up anyway and have a super cool coat or master the art of layering, in which i don't have an inkling :)
