HOME is where the Heart is

Out of all the things that I have, the opportunities to buy whatever I want most of the time, I am most of all thankful for the home and the family that God has blessed me with.
I can't get over how my parents are always so supportive of the decisions I make and everyday, I take the time to pray and thank the Lord for all His priceless blessings.

This Christmas, I won't be coming home.. And it's okay because come April 2011, I will be leaving the Philippines for good. But since I'm still here, I'm on reminisce mode- here are pictures I'm posting for you guys to give you an idea of what it's like for me "to be home"..

Basic Makeup Workshop with GLAM Ph

Let me start by saying how I think its impractical (and a tad bit ridiculous) to have to spend 580 Php Browhaus just because I don't know how to shape/tame my brows. Imagine how much money I'd be able to save to buy a lipstick instead of spending it on my brows. :-/

So I decided to attend a workshop yesterday with some friends, to learn more about the basics of makeup (which includes learning how to shape your brows).
With my "classmates"

It was refreshing to have a professional Makeup Artist standing right in front of me, ready to answer all of my questions. For once, I didn't have to watch and learn from a youtube video.

We got this 12 pc. Dashe Makeup Brush Set for FREE :)
"CLASS PICTURE"
I would post everything I learned, but I would rather encourage you to join the class, it was really fun and you'll learn A LOT!!! That and you get free makeup brushes :)

So I leave you with a picture I took before I went to sleep last night.
I just had to experiment with my makeup again. Haha

If you're interested in joining their Basic and Advance Workshop, all you have to do is add GLAM PH and Ma'am Mitch on Facebook.

Have a blessed Sunday, everyone!!!

To stud or not to stud?

I got this blazer from H&M last Christmas when I flew back home.. It was on sale and I got it for I think K.D. 2.500 (around PhP 300++)

I was gonna wear it one day but then thought it looked kinda boring.. So I decided to put some studs on it.

The problem is, it didn't turn out so well on the other collar (I dont think "collar" is the word, but you get what I mean, lol). I found it kinda difficult to copy what I did on the other collar so I just gave up (I tried 3x by the way). That and I got too lazy to finish it coz I have a lotta other things to do. Haha!!
These were the studs that I used on the blazer, got them from Divisoria.
So anyway, now I'm left alone with a blazer that has only one studded "collar".. Hahaha!
I wanna know what you guys think about it? Should I still try to finish doing the other one? Or should I just do something different to it? Like put some sort of badge or brooch or whatever? I'd really like to hear your suggestions.. THANKS A LOT!!!!

By the way, if you're wondering where I got the inspiration.. Here is a picture of me and "The One That Got Away"...

That's a studded blazer from Zara that I shoulda bought when I had the chance last year. Unfortunately, the second time I came back for it, they already ran out of my size. :(

Really looking forward to what you guys have to say.. Please leave a comment!! :) THANK YOU!

P.S.- IF YOU THINK ITS TACKY, LET ME KNOW AND I'LL JUST THROW IT AWAY. Hahahaha.. :P

No really, if you think I should get rid of the studs and do something else, let me know!! I'm open to your ideas. Thaaankk yoouuu :P
