Let me just say that I have NEVER actually forced myself to wake up early to go shopping. Haha.
My yaya and I got inside the mall at 9AM (perks of being a Fitness First member), just half an hour before the guards open the doors for the public. Pagdating ko palang dun, ang dami na nakapila sa entrance ng Megamall. Siempre ang yabang kong pumasok sa mall, ahead of everybody else. Hahaha.. Well.. apparently not everybody else, because I got there and I was no.11 sa line, my yaya was no.10.
They had these huge, buff men as Event Security because I heard that a lotta people went crazy yesterday at the Pre-Opening. Nagkagulo daw talaga. Hahaha!!
Ok, so this was the most unforgettable part for me kase akala ko sa movies lang nangyayare to'.. As soon as the mall entrance opened, HUNDREDS of girls RAN and some even SCREAMED on their way to fall in line.. INSANE!!!!! I wish I took a video!!! Someone's gonna post one eventually because I saw the girl in front of me taking a video of what happened. Grabe talaga!!!! Parang yun sale sa movie na Confessions Of A Shopaholic!! :P
The first 250 customers got a gift voucher of 200pesos.. I asked my yaya to tag along because sayang naman the voucher.. You'll still be able to use it kase even if you don't buy anything. That and I needed a P.A. to carry my bag for me. Haha. She ended up buying shirts for herself though that costs 185 PhP each. Oha!! :P
The funny part is, I didn't know that the first ten sa line ang mauuna papapasukin sa store.. Like I said earlier, just so happens that my yaya was no.10 and I, no.11. NAUNA PANG PUMASOK ANG BRUHA!!!! Didn't even ask if I wanted to trade with her!! Grabe talaga kinalimutan kung sino ang amo!! Hahaha.. But its all good though.. Its not everyday naman that someone like her gets to be a part of an event like this..
We spent a good 3 hours inside the store.. I wish I had all the money in the world so that I could buy everything that I wanted kase NALITO AND NADULING AKO sa dami ng magagandang damit and accessories sa paligid ko.. BUT... I'm a responsible shopper naman. :) I made sure that I left my wallet and ATM card at home and just brought with me my allotted shopping money lang (I swear, if I hadn't done that, I WOULD STARVE FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH OF JULY..). Besides, I didn't need to go shopping to the max naman.. I still have hoards of dresses, shoes and accessories that I haven't worn yet. PLUS my Mom is coming home on August. :D :D :D Why spend my money when I can spend hers??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. KAPAL KO. I love you, Ma.
All in all, the experience was GREAT. As always, FOREVER21 is AWESOME!!! CHIC AND AFFORDABLE!!! :) The sales people were VERY ACCOMODATING and HELPFUL. The accessories are TO DIE FOR. Go check it out this weekend!!!!!!! BE THERE EARLY!!!!! :)
